WHAT GOT YOU INTO SKATEBOARDING? Some jerk I don’t talk to anymore.
BIGGEST CHALLENGE RUNNING A SKATE SHOP? Explaining to kids why we don’t sell all the popular stuff and why being “cool” is not cool.
BEST SELLING HARDGOOD IN SHOP: Our shop decks are where it’s at!
SOFTGOODS? We just picked up some awesome goods from Overthrow Clothing and Medium Apparel.
BEST SELLING SHOE? The dudes at VOX are pretty awesome and we move a lot of those.
MOST UNIQUE PRODUCT? Most stuff we carry isn’t in stores.
YOUR THOUGHTS ON SKATEBOARDING TODAY? It’s become too glamorous. Get out and skate for yourself. Be creative and stop worrying about how many likes you’ll get on Instagram. These big companies need to go and we need to purify the culture of not giving a damn.
THOUGHTS ON I RIDE I RECYCLE? There is a lot of broken wood being thrown away every day, so it’s cool to see it repurposed into tile. It brings about a new style and keeps the sky blue.
ANYTHING YOU’D LIKE TO PROMOTE? Skateboarding. It’s not about the shop or a brand. It’s about a lifestyle. Go buy a board at your local shop, slap a sticker on it and skate. Promote the kids that support us and what we stand for.
